MacArthur-Driehaus Professional Development Grants support opportunities for lead staff to build new skills or enhance existing skills in the service of the grantee organization. Current grantees are eligible to receive additional support to improve administrative and management skills by attending professional conferences, trainings and workshops. Grantees may also attend residencies and masterclasses aimed at enhancing artistic practices through immersive training.

This year, the MacArthur Funds for Arts and Culture at The Richard H. Driehaus Foundation provided a total of $120,200 in Professional Development Grants to 66 grantee organizations (about one-third of current MacArthur-Driehaus grantees).

In addition, and in response to needs expressed by many grantees, 39 MacArthur-Driehaus grantee organizations are participating in a free training program in Marketing & Communications with LimeRed Studio called “ArC” (short for Arts Communications).

A complete list of Professional Development Grants and links to grantees’ websites are below.

Congratulations to the 2017 MacArthur-Driehaus Professional Development grantees!
