After many happy years working within the Driehaus enterprise, I am writing to share the news that I am retiring from my role as President and Executive Director of the Driehaus Foundation on December 31, 2025.

I could not be more pleased to share that Lynn Osmond will succeed me as the Foundation’s next President and Executive Director effective September 29, 2025. Lynn has been a valued member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors since 2022, and she is an experienced civic and business leader who demonstrates a deep respect for the Foundation’s mission and Richard Driehaus’ legacy. I will continue to serve as Co-President through year end to assist and ensure a seamless leadership transition.

It has been an honor to serve in my role over the past seven years during a pivotal period of growth and expansion in each of the Foundation’s three program areas. We are deeply grateful for the work your organization undertakes each and every day to create meaningful change in our communities. Your passion and commitment never cease to be inspiring and I hope our paths will cross in the weeks ahead.

Warmly,
Anne Lazar
Executive Director
The Richard H. Driehaus Foundation
