As Senior Program Director, JC will lead the Foundation’s Arts and Culture program and play a key role in developing and implementing program goals and objectives. Executive Director Anne Lazar shared, “I am thrilled to welcome JC to the Driehaus Foundation. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge that will support Arts and Culture program strategy and continued expansion.”

JC comes to the role with extensive experience in arts and culture grantmaking and program design, most recently serving as a Senior Program Officer at Polk Bros. Foundation. As Senior Program Officer, JC led Polk Bros. arts education strategy and supported a portfolio of nonprofit partners in arts education. Previously, JC served as the Director of Development for Marwen, a visual arts education organization. JC brings extensive experience serving on arts funder collaboratives in Chicago. He holds a BA in Religion from Emory University and an MA in Religion from Yale Divinity School.
